Notice For Call Of Special Community Meeting

 

The Trustees of the DMZT hereby invite you, and your family to a Special Community Hall Meeting at 1:00 PM on Sunday October 6th, 2013 at the Darbe Mehr located at 106 Pomona Road, Suffern, NY 10901.

 

This special meeting is being held to inform the DMZT congregation of the decisions that were made by the DMZT Trustees in collaboration with the ZAGNY, IZA and NDMI Boards, with regards to commencing the construction phase for the New Darbe Mehr Building.

 

We urge you to attend this meeting so that you get all pertinent information regarding the New Building, and all the factors that went into the decision making process for the Trustees. This meeting will also provide you the opportunity to ask questions in a "Community Hall" format.

 

Lastly, please keep the date open for 1:00 PM on Sunday December 8th, 2013. In the days following the Special Community Hall meeting, the Trustees will announce a call for a General Body Meeting for all DMZT members to vote on the recommendations made by the Trustees pertaining to the New Building Project. Provisions will be made for mail-in ballots for those of you who are unable to attend in person.

 

We look forward to seeing you on October 6th. Please inform your Zoroastrian friends regarding this meeting, especially those who are not members of ZAGNY or IZA. Note that all Zoroastrians residing within a 100 mile radius of the Darbe Mehr are considered members of the DMZT, and they do not need to be members of ZAGNY or IZA.
