Notice is hereby given to the congregation that voting for the Election of Trustees for the Darbe Mehr Zoroastrian Temple will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at the Arbab Rustam Guiv Darbe Mehr located at 106 Pomona Road, Suffern, NY 10910. The election will take place following the proceedings of the Annual General Meeting being held on the same day.
The election procedure being carried out will appoint two Trustees from the list of Nominated Candidates.
The term of office of two of the Trustees, Mr. Astad Clubwala and Mr. Viraf Commissariat expires this year.
Nominations for election to the Board of Trustees have been received from Mr. Jamsheed Banaji and Mr. Darius Mody.
Absentee Ballots and instructions for the election of Trustees who have been nominated are being mailed to the entire congregation with this notice, to facilitate voting by members who wish to do so by mail. Persons who have voted by mail may attend the election but will not be allowed to vote again unless they withdraw their mail ballot before commencement of the election procedure.
It is most important that DMZT congregation members attend the AGM and Election of Trustees meeting in person. If you are unable to attend, please make sure to mail in your absentee ballots so as to reach Mr. Noshir Dutia, 2 Viking Court, Randolph NJ, 07869-1236 on or before April 28, 2012.
